Crystal Liu Takes Over Zanilia Zhao in Her Upcoming Project
刘亦菲接替赵丽颖出演新剧《无泪雪》
Surging on popularity following the successes of her dramas Meet Yourself (《去有风的地方》) and The Tale of Rose (《玫瑰的故事》), actress Crystal Liu (刘亦菲) appears to have a knack for picking out good scripts (挑选好剧本的能力)! Idle for two years since The Tale of Rose, Crystal’s next project is rumored to be costume drama (古装剧) Tearless Snow (《无泪雪》), with the female lead role (女主角) she’s taking on originally meant for actress Zanilia Zhao (赵丽颖).
凭借《去有风的地方》和《玫瑰的故事》的成功，刘亦菲的受欢迎程度飙升，似乎拥有挑选好剧本的能力！自《玫瑰的故事》后休息两年，刘亦菲的下一个项目据传是古装剧《无泪雪》，而这一女主角原本是为赵丽颖准备的。
Wrapping up filming for The Return of the Condor Heroes (《神雕侠侣》) in 2006, Crystal turned her focus to the big screen (大银幕) and made a successful TV comeback (电视回归) in 2022 with the mega success of A Dream of Splendor (《梦华录》), following which the subsequent dramas she led continued resonating with viewers (引起观众共鸣). Asked when she would be filming a new drama whenever she showed up during events, Crystal always gave the same reply that “I’m still reading the script”, adding that she would always prioritize the quality of the script (优先考虑剧本质量), and does not restrict the kind of characters she takes on.
2006年完成《神雕侠侣》的拍摄后，刘亦菲将重心转向大银幕，并于2022年凭借《梦华录》成功回归电视荧屏，随后她主演的剧集继续引起观众共鸣。每当她在活动中被问及何时拍摄新剧时，刘亦菲总是回答“我还在看剧本”，并强调她始终会优先考虑剧本质量，且不限制自己饰演的角色类型。
Adapted from Chinese novel of the same name, Tearless Snow tells of a lady salt merchant (女盐商) Su Qingyao (苏清瑶) who returns to the city as a wealthy widow (富有的寡妇), and is tasked to secretly investigate the imperial patrol envoy (巡按御史) Shen Yibao (沈一宝).
《无泪雪》改编自同名中国小说，讲述了女盐商苏清瑶以富有的寡妇身份回到城市，并奉命秘密调查巡按御史沈一宝的故事。
While Tearless Snow had originally cast Zanilia Zhao as its female lead, the actress had turned it down as her recent focus was on the big screen. After starring in the production The Legend of Shen Li (《与凤行》) last year – partly to fulfill fans’ dreams of seeing her pairing up (搭档) with actor Lin Gengxin (林更新) again after Princess Agents (《楚乔传》), she has decided not to take on costume dramas, while Crystal was the production’s best alternative cast (最佳替代人选), being the only post-85 actress (85后女演员) who commanded the same weight (分量).

On the other hand, Crystal was initially not as interested in Tearless Snow, as A Dream of Splendor was in the same category (类别), but the female-centric plotline (以女性为中心的剧情), along with the promising cast and crew (有潜力的演员和团队) eventually won her over. The series is helmed by (由…执导) The Long Season (《漫长的季节》) director Xin Shuang (辛爽), co-starring either As Beautiful As You‘s (《你比星光美丽》) Xu Kai (许凯), Joy of Life‘s (《庆余年》) Zhang Ruoyun (张若昀) or The Story of Minglan‘s (《知否知否应是绿肥红瘦》) Zhu Yilong (朱一龙) as male lead (男主角).
另一方面，刘亦菲最初对《无泪雪》并不感兴趣，因为《梦华录》属于同一类别，但该剧以女性为中心的剧情以及有潜力的演员和团队最终打动了她。该剧由《漫长的季节》导演辛爽执导，男主角将由《你比星光美丽》的许凯、《庆余年》的张若昀或《知否知否应是绿肥红瘦》的朱一龙出演。
